New Chapter by Amandine Desille on Ukrainian Cultural Heritage in Portugal

Amandine Desille, a member of our consortium, has recently published a new chapter in the book Cultural Heritage and Mobility from a Multisensory Perspective, edited by Magdalena Banaszkiewicz and Karolina Nikielska-Sekuła. The chapter, titled “Sensing the Mobile: Ukrainian Cultural Heritage in Portugal,” is based on a film project, illustrating the potential of visual research to enable multisensory exploration of migrant heritage within the diaspora. This work showcases how visual methodologies such as the ones adopted by the Re-Place project members, can deepen our understanding of cultural preservation and sensory experience in migration contexts.
