REPLACE Project Experts Participate in Seminar on Territorial Statistics

Zaiga Krišjāne and Māris Bērziņš recently participated in a seminar on territorial statistics and applied research organized by the Latvian Central Statistical Office. During the event, Māris Bērziņš presented his report, “Demographic Change and Socio-Economic Disparities of Left-Behind Places Across the Regions of Latvia.” His insights contributed to discussions on regional demographic shifts and economic inequalities, aligning with the REPLACE project’s focus on territorial disparities and policy solutions.
