Sister projects’ collaboration in motion: Preparing for EWRC 2025

Re-Place, together with sister projects MOBI-TWIN and PREMIUM_EU, recently held a joint meeting to plan their participation in the 2025 European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC). This event, scheduled for October 2025 in Brussels, will take place under the motto “Shaping Tomorrow, Together”, offering a valuable opportunity to engage with policymakers, stakeholders, and researchers, and to exchange experiences related to the projects’ core research themes.

During the meeting, participants from the three projects shared their ideas and experiences. Key discussion points included the importance of showcasing tools and methods that foster mutual learning and exchange among policymakers, researchers, and civil society—particularly regarding the role of migration and spatial mobility in the development of rural and peripheral areas.

As a result of the meeting, the projects’ applications for EWRC were successfully aligned and submitted, laying the groundwork for impactful participation and the effective dissemination of their initiatives and findings.
